History of the Parade
West Fest is a favorite fall celebration for the whole Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area. Thousands attend the parade on Sheyenne Street each year to watch as creatively decorated floats pass by. Events throughout the weekend bring together families and friends to celebrate our community.
West Fargo has been celebrating West Fest since 1992 when the West Fargo Chamber of Commerce joined with local businesses and organizations and brought the whole surrounding community together. In 2011, the City of West Fargo took over the responsibility of coordinating West Fest after the 2010 merger of The West Fargo Chamber of Commerce into a regional organization called The Chamber. The City of West Fargo now looks forward to celebrating another year!
