Clubs at the Library
West Fargo Cribbage Club
Cribbage players of all ages and skill levels are invited to join the West Fargo Cribbage Club from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Tuesdays from October through April. Each week, we will play a 6-game round-robin tournament, and there will be lots of opportunities for new players to learn! No prior knowledge of the game is required. This club is free and open to the public. The West Fargo Cribbage Club adheres to the American Cribbage Congress Code of Congeniality for all tournament play.
English Conversation Circles
English Conversation Circles let English learners practice speaking at the library. They happen from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month in Meeting Room 1. They’re for people who know some English and want to get better at speaking.
What happens? At each meeting, we talk about life in the United States (like money, health, schools,) things to do in West Fargo, and what’s happening in the US and the world. We practice speaking, listening, words, and how to say things. We talk, act out scenarios, and play speaking games. These circles aren’t like classes. No homework, tests, or grammar. We won’t focus on rules for writing or reading.
Gardeners of all skill levels are invited to the West Fargo Public Library Gardening Club. The club meets at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month during the spring, summer, and fall. Events take place at the West Fargo Public Library unless otherwise noted. All events are free and open to the public.
Join us from 7 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month for engaging wiring prompts, discussion, informative sessions, and valuable peer reviews. Writers of all skill levels are invited.
